Swimsuit Edition

Exclusive pictures and footage live from Chai Wan of Daryl going to a swimming lesson. And in case you're wondering, the woman behind Daryl is not his Mommy.

City Snacker

Looks like Daryl has picked up the habit of eating snacks a little too quickly, just like his old man.

Catwalking in Parklane

I WANT to be a model.

I CAN be a model!

Oh well, I know I'm not going to be a model.

Something on My Back

Granny, someone's put something on my back, right?

It's right here, but I can't see it.

How can I shake it off? Help me please, Granny!

Captain Daryl

Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain Daryl speaking. Welcome aboard the Thomas Express and our journey will take you to the Promise Land today.

Now buckle up and enjoy the ride, if only I could figure out how to drive this darn thing.

Daryl the Manager

Hey, don't tell the boys I'm here. I'm on a secret mission.

Oh no, I can't believe we've done this again! Where can I get a good defender?

Hey, ref, are you fxxking blind? I didn't cross the line!

...

If you give Daryl a shirt and a tie, and allow stubble to grow on his face, you can easily see a new José Mourinho in the making.

Optical Illusion (Part II)

Which of the following statements is true?

1. The blue ball is bigger than the green ball.
2. The green ball is bigger than the blue ball.
3. The blue ball is inside the green ball.
4. The green ball is inside the blue ball.
5. You are wasting too much time on a stupid question because you have too much time to kill.

Optical Illusion (Part I)

If you see more than one ball in the picture, congratulations, you need a new pair of glasses.

I Want an iPhone

Daryl is going through the leaflet carefully, before deciding whether to give up 50 cans of milk powder, 30 packs of diapers or his contract with Liverpool for this tiny little gadget.

It's Not Creamy's Fault

In the heat of the moment, something sticky and smelly fell through the tiny gap in Daryl's underwear and shorts, along his legs and onto the floor.

And he didn't say a word.

Daryl Goes Clubbing

Wow, Mommy is taking me clubbing!

The balls are more comfortable than my mattress! Now I need some girls ...

There are two rules you have to remember while you're in a ball pit: First, grab as many balls as you can. And the second rule is, don't forget the first rule.

I wonder where this tunnel will lead me to ...

I wish I could have a table like that, just for storing my toys, and for my girls to serve me great food, and then some.

Oh my gosh, I never knew how hard playing snooker really is. Being a referee is easier for me.

"I got to sleep. Good night!" A second ago, Daryl was tucking in some delicious spaghetti and fine lamb chops. The very next second, he fell asleep, just like flipping a switch. Oh boy, clubbing can be exhausting.

Big Big Dreams for a Small Small Kid

My dreams are: 1. Play for Liverpool; and 2. become a model MTR passenger who always waits in lines and stays behind the yellow line.

Ice-cream, Cone and Me

After all the hard work, it's time to enjoy the yummy ice-cream.

And the Floodgates Open

We've all experienced the growing pain. That is, a small-scale man-made flooding due to our failure to tell our parents that we need to pee.

My N+1th Birthday (N Being More Than 20)

More evidence showing Daryl prefers western meals than Chinese ones: Just see how he enjoyed the food and dessert on my birthday dinner. And guess who made that lovely tiramisu? Yes, my lovely wife did.

I Love Corns

Why do kids love corns? Or is it only Daryl? Well, I'd rather he loves corn, at least it is something edible. When he was a small kid, he would pick up the corn with his hands and chew on it.

Fishy Friends

There are two things that Daryl can't figure out: (a) Why these big creatures are stuck in a giant bathtub; and (b) what they want to say. Luckily for me, he didn't ask me to dive in to find out why.

Hefty Lefty

Just like his old man, Daryl apparently is left-handed. Hopefully unlike his old man, Daryl's left-handedness will not hinder his development.

What is Baby-Mo?

"I don't belong to anything called 'Baby-Mo'," said Daryl. "I want to get out. I just hate the name."

Eating Jelly

Someone (probably me) forgot to tell Daryl that he should remove the lid first ...

Thomas the Ball Pit

Here is a one-million dollar question to you, my dear friends: How the heck can we find room for the enormous Thomas ball pit that you have given us as a gift for Daryl's second birthday?

McDonald's Magic

Other than "Mommy" and "Daddy", "McDonald's" is probably the first word that Daryl has picked up.

Saturday, July 05, 2008

Snooker Maniac

Daryl has hopelessly fallen in love with snooker. Even with the delicious sushis and sashimis in front of him, the only thing he sees is the pair of chopsticks, which he can use as a snooker cue.

Smelly Feet

I don't know if you are aware of it, but believe me, kid's feet can be really smelly. They can be even smellier than the adults', and Daryl's are no exception. Poor me.

Passing on the Torch

Daryl Cheung, Olympic torch bearer number 611. He's a lovely two-year-old kid from Hong Kong, and a specialist in bed-wetting and food-wasting.

The Future is Bright for the Reds

Rafa Benitez's latest signing in the close season, Daryl Cheung, arrived at Anfield in a Thomas train.

Creamy the Leaper

No, we haven't forgotten Creamy, our lovely, loyal and hyperactive schnauzer. At age six, she is still a good jumper, which is exactly why we are worried that she may accidentally knock down Daryl. I just hope that Daryl would grow up big and fast and we could bring Creamy home again.
