The sports day was so grueling for Daryl that he was always stretching the day after.

Daryl really wanted to know, but dared not move as all his friends were on it.

It went to the podium as the kids won a bronze medal in the sports day competition.

And Daryl lifted the trophy as if he was the overall winner for the day.

Soccer Fever

Daryl was warming up ...

For a one-on-one soccer match against someone twice his age.

He managed to break free for a clear shot on goal ...

But missed the target so badly that he had no idea where the ball has gone.

Luckily the ball boys retrieved the ball for him ...

And it was to exhausting to him that he managed to finish a big bowl of noodles by himself!

Further proof that Daryl is still a small baby: He always wants me to carry him when he goes to school.

Although Daryl looks much bigger after the haircut, he is still a small baby whenever he cries like that ...

The Secret of Ageing

Daryl looks a lot different after his first haircut at a salon. Suddenly he has turned from a baby to a small boy.

I'd better stop having any haircut lest I suddenly get old!

Despite our best efforts, Daryl still needs his pacifier wherever he goes.

Visiting Sir Alex

Took part in the experiment to see if they allow hippies like him to board the fire vessel.

This little hippie staged a sit-in protest in front of one of the floating rings ...

And cried slogans as he's pissed that he wasn't allowed to fire one of the water cannons there.

Daryl's face literally turned red. Hm, is that love at first sight?

Too Bad I Don't Have a Helicopter

For the umpteenth time (and counting), Daryl was left waiting for a taxi alone after a crazy day of shopping.

A closer look reveals how pissed he actually was.

That's why he decided that enough is enough and it'd be better for him to walk home!

Like all top athletes, Daryl understands the nutritious value of bananas.

That's why he ate a whole one before his daily soccer practice ...

And another one before belting a monstrous home-run beyond the right-field couch.

As Daryl grows, he's becoming more and more like his mother, as proven by his fondness of these tiny and sweet Japanese snacks.

Metamorphosis

Daryl hated standing on sand.

He hated the feeling of getting his toes and feet coated with these itchy grainy stuff.

But after spending an afternoon sleeping on a beach with his old man ...

He found out that he could kick sand to the right ...

And could also kick to the left.

He even kept standing on the sand at sunset ...

And wasn't willing to go home when night fell.

A Walk in the Park

A bunch of naughty and noisy kids refused to cede the bench to those in need.

They all got really nice shoes, much to the envy of everyone.

Meanwhile, a naughty one decided to invade the climbing frame ...

And mocked everyone with a funny face.

He even tried to steer the frame towards the crowd, but thankfully failed to do so.

He then hopped onto the back of a fire engine, driven by an innocent bystander who had no idea why the vehicle suddenly refused to go.

And the naughty one eventually dragged the innocent one off the vehicle to a nearby McDonald's, with every intention of asking the latter to treat him with a happy meal.

Gone are the Presents
